2020
Discovered Chess
During the pandemic, the Founder & CEO began taking online chess lessons with her siblings and quickly fell in love with the strategy and depth of the game.
2021
First Chess Club Founded
The Founder & CEO launched their middle school’s first chess club and secured a grant for boards and timers. The club is still thriving today.
2024
Endgame Knights Begins
The idea for Endgame Knights began before the Founder & CEO entered high school, but it was officially established before her sophomore year. She started by writing instructional guides, organizing tournaments, and building a thriving online chess community.
2025
Global Community Growth
Endgame Knights hosted 10+ online tournaments with players worldwide and organized 2 in person events, including the South Bay Chess Championship with 50+ participants.
2026
Present
Endgame Knights continues running tournaments, leading a high school chapter, and developing new guides, projects, and videos that combine chess and computer science.

What began as a personal journey during the pandemic quickly grew into a mission to teach strategic thinking, patience, and problem solving skills that extend far beyond the chessboard.
